Inspired Blueprints

Here is my first layout for Inspired Blueprints.  I have been trying since Friday night to get this layout done but every time I got some papers together they just didn't seem to work so I would start again!!  Finally, I finished it this afternoon and I am really happy with how it came together.

Mum and Jock came up from Esperance yesterday to drop off their cat "Boots" for us to cat sit as they are heading off to New Zealand for 4 weeks with Nanna tomorrow night (lucky buggers!!!) and they drove to Perth today.
Feeling a bit sad as I will miss them heaps :-(
Feeling very happy for them as I know they will have a fantastic time and they have been waiting for ages for this holiday.
Have fun!!
Miss you heaps already and love you lots!

Scrap The Girls

Here is my layout for the March Scrap The Girls challenge blog.  The challenge was;

To use ONE of the SHE quotes by Kobi Yamada as the title & inspiration for your LO

The quote I used was "She just has this way of brightening the day."

I adore this photo of Kenya hugging Fi just 4 days before Adrian was born.  It is a beautiful moment in time captured forever.

Enjoy your weekend.

Kraft It Up and more excitement!

I found out this week that one of my other scrappy friends, Jenny, is coming on the "Scrap Away in WA" retreat with us at the end of July...Yay.....very excited!!

Well, here is my first Kraft It Up challenge entry.  The requirements for this challenge blog are "to complete a challenge using Kraft and at least ONE other requirement, you can use whatever else you want but it must be on Kraft and include that month's requirement."

So, the challenge for March is;

to incorporate the following saying on your layout, this could be using it as your title or in your journaling...
"There is no greater gift than today"

Here is my layout.

White With 1 March

I was two thirds really happy when I read the March challenge for White With 1.  The challenge is;
To create a layout using

WHITE .......No problems at all
+
BRIGHT PINK.........Even better!  Every one that knows me knows I LOVE pink!
+
ARTISAN SHAPES/ARTISAN PRODUCTS*...........WHAT THE ???????????

Thankfully......after recovering from a mild panic attack, I kept reading on and there was a description (and pictures!!) of what Artisan Shapes and Products are (thanks so much to all at WW1 on behalf of all the uninitiated).
Low and behold, I just happen to have some Artisan Products in my scrap collection (mental note to self.....it helps to read the packaging of the products you get in your kits and not just admire how pretty they are!!).
For the non-scrappy people that read my blog it is the little white shape in the bottom right hand side that has journalling in it!

I'm so excited.....

....and I just can't hide it!!!

My scrappy friend Kristy and I are attending a scrapbooking retreat at the end of July!!
The retreat is organised by "Scrap Away In WA" and I can't wait!!!
We are staying at Club Capricorn which is near Yanchep YAY!!!

I was looking through my scrapbook albums the other day and realised that I haven't uploaded any more of my bootcamp layouts.....YES, I am still doing the Blue Bazaar Bootcamp from last year but I am really enjoying doing them at my own pace so I will get all 50 done.....eventually!!!
So here are layouts 16, 17, 18 and 19.  All sketches are designed by Becky Fleck of Pagemaps.
Enjoy!
